Any other Thai Airways offices other than the main one?

It seems that the only Thai Airways offices are up around Chatuchak; is this the only one? Anywhere else I can speak to someone about changing my departure date? I'll just note that the Siam Square office is actually inside the Thai Airways building on Rama I Road, not directly in Siam Square itself. It's tucked away behind the main street, so you might miss it if you're not looking. The Silom Complex one is more convenient if you're already in that area, but they both handle date changes the same way. Just avoid going during lunch hour around noon, that's when the queue gets longer.

yeah there's a thai airways office in the city at silom complex, it's on the 2nd floor near the food court. i went there last month to rebook a flight and it took maybe 15 minutes, staff was helpful. opens at 8am and closes at 5pm on weekdays, closed weekends. bring ur booking number and passport just in case

If you're near the eastern part of the city, there's a Thai Airways office at the airport link station in Makkasan. It's on the ground floor of the building, right by the ticket gates. I've used it for a rebooking before and it was quick, maybe 10 minutes, and they're open until 8pm on weekdays. Just keep in mind they might have a shorter lunch break around 11:30 to 1pm.

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
