Chatuchak Weekend Market has a few vendors in the antique section that specialize in vintage Seikos, though you have to be patient and check the crowns. I'd budget around 1,500 to 3,000 baht for a decent used 5, depending on the condition and if it's a 6309 or 7009 movement. The sellers there tend to know their stuff, so you're less likely to get a frankenwatch compared to some MBK stalls.

try fortune town market, it's a bit out of the way but less touristy than mbk. loads of vintage seikos there if you dig around

Yeah there's a few spots. MBK Center on the 4th floor has tons of stalls with Seiko 5s, both new and used. Just haggle hard.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
