Anyone lining up for the iPhone 16 Pro at Central World Apple Store?
ngl i'd skip central world if u haven't pre-ordered. the walk-in stock there is a gamble cause they give priority to the pre-order line first, and that wraps around the atrium. try the apple store at siam paragon instead - it's smaller but they get separate allocation from central world. i scored a walk-in 15 pro max there last year around 9am cause most people assume it's only central world doing launches. also the queue at paragon is indoors with AC so u won't be melting in the heat
If you're set on Central World, 6am puts you in a decent spot but the real bottleneck is the queue management. They usually start handing out queue tickets around 7am, and if you're not in the first 100 or so, the popular colors and storage sizes vanish fast. The Natural Titanium and Desert Titanium are the ones everyone wants this year, so expect those to go first.
You might have better luck at the Apple Store in IconSiam instead. It's less crowded in the morning and the walk-in stock tends to last a bit longer because fewer resellers bother with the ferry trip. The BTS to Wongwian Yai and a short taxi ride gets you there before 7am if you leave now.
6am should be fine tbh. i lined up for the 15 last year and got there at 7, still got what i wanted within an hour. the crowd at central world is mostly tourists and resellers, so expect some chaos near the entrance. grab a coffee at the starbucks inside before they open the doors, it helps.
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
