any disadvantage to having lizard live in your condo? (it's been one week now haha)

From what I can tell, they don't leave behind too much poop, and just eat bugs. I don't want to kill it. Should I keep him hanging around, or is that dirty of me?

honestly you're fine, those little house geckos (jingjok) are basically free pest control. they eat mosquitoes too which is a big plus in Bangkok

the only real downside is they can get loud at night with that chirping sound, and if you're unlucky one might drop from the ceiling and land on your face. happened to my friend in Thong Lo once, scared the hell out of her but the lizard was fine

just don't use those sticky traps for cockroaches because the lizard will get stuck and die a slow death. seen that too many times around here. let him do his thing, he'll probably move on when the bug supply runs low

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
