How many Bangkok condo buildings now have water contaminated with Acanthamoeba? Our building's developer thinks it might be coming from the city water district. [serious]

And my building (Ari area) has also found the contamination in the water supply / tanks.
We aren't in Lat Phrao, but not far away in the Phaya Thai water district.
Our juristic office says the water tanks have been tested and they found acanthamoeba, so they are adding extra chlorine and advising residents to be careful... which as far as I can tell just means not washing your contact lenses in the tap water (who would do that anyway?).
The juristic office also says there is suspicion from the developer of our building (AP) that the contamination is coming from the water district, and our water district (I think it is Phaya Thai) has agreed to test the water coming into our building for contamination.
This test samples have been collected according to the juristic office, but it will take up to 3 weeks to test the samples and provide the results according to the juristic person.
This has me wondering, have all of the condos in BKK tested their building water supply for this organism? I'd never drink the water or even using it for cooking, but it has me wondering if this water is even safe for washing dishes, showering, or spraying one's bum orifice with a bum gun.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
