What service should I use to get the big stuffs moved from a place to mine? honestly if you're in bangkok just use the grab truck option in the app, not the regular grab. it's under the "delivery" tab and lets you pick a pickup truck size. i've moved a fridge and a sofa with it before, worked fine. just tip the driver a bit extra if they help you carry it up stairs, they appreciate it

if you're in a condo or apartment, check with the juristic office first. some buildings have restrictions on moving big items through the lobby or elevators and you might need to book a specific time slot or use a service elevator. also for a washing machine specifically, make sure you get the transit bolts put back in by whoever's selling it before it gets moved, otherwise it can rattle apart in the truck. drivers wont take responsibility for that

both lalamove and grab truck work fine for this. one thing nobody mentioned - if you're buying secondhand from facebook marketplace or a shop, some sellers offer delivery for a small fee. worth asking before you arrange your own transport cause it might save you the hassle of loading it yourself. also keep in mind most drivers won't help carry past the ground floor unless you negotiate extra cash upfront, like 100-200 baht

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
