Any dispensaries offer vegan edibles?

Or is the best bet to go to Plantopia and shop there? Or is the best bet to go to Plantopia and shop there?

Plantopia's solid but honestly if you're up for a little adventure, head over to Talad Neon at night. There's a vendor there that does fresh coconut-based cannabis treats, all vegan, and you can actually see them making it. Way less processed than the gummy packs and about 100 baht cheaper. Just ask for the lady with the green cart near the parking lot exit.

Some of the Sukhumvit dispensaries carry vegan gummies, but you'll pay a premium and the selection is small. Plantopia on Soi 11 has a much better range of vegan-friendly options, and their staff actually knows which products are fully plant-based versus just labeled that way. If you're near Ekkamai, check out Green Leaf Society, they've got a few vegan edibles that aren't on their main menu.

yeah Plantopia's probably ur best bet, they're upfront about ingredients. there's also a spot on Soi Nana called Herb Haven that does vegan brownies, but call ahead to check if they've got stock

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
