any1 know where I can buy a drawstring bag in bangkok?

Looking for a drawstring bag I can use as a day to day that can fit a 13inch tablet. soemthing I can easily fold up and put in my main bag, which is sometimes too heavy to bring as a day to day

cheer…

I'd check out Siam Square, there's a bunch of small shops tucked in the alleys that sell those minimalist Japanese-style drawstring bags. There's one called Daiso on the ground floor of Siam Paragon too, they have basic nylon ones for 60 baht that are surprisingly decent for a tablet.

You'll find plenty of drawstring bags at the weekend markets, specifically Chatuchak on Saturdays and Sundays. Walk around Section 2 or Section 4 where the casual bag stalls are, and you can usually haggle them down to around 150-250 baht depending on the fabric quality. If you want something more durable that still folds flat, check out the outdoor gear shops along Khao San Road, they have nylon ones that hold up better and usually have a small zippered pocket for keys or a phone.

honestly just hit up MBK Center, 4th floor near the escalators by the food court. there's a small shop called O.Bag that has these foldable nylon drawstrings for like 200 baht, sturdy enough for a tablet but packs down to the size of a wallet. way better quality than the chatuchak ones which tend to rip after a month.

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
