Anyway, is there any social meetup/networking event you'd recommend?

If there is anything business/startups related would be wonderful. But I'm to any social gathering Just to enjoy some quality time meeting good people.

honestly skip the meetup.com stuff in Bangkok, it's a sausage fest of MLM pitches. For tonight check out Get Links at the Commomroom on Sukhumvit 22, it's a legit mix of freelancers and startup people who actually just want to grab a beer and chat. starts around 7 and the pizza there is decent enough to keep you fueled while you talk shop

yeah the meetup scene here is rough, lots of networking events that are just thinly veiled sales pitches for supplements or forex

if you want something more casual tonight, check out the WTF bar on Sukhumvit Soi 51. it's not explicitly a networking thing but it's basically a gallery bar that draws a mix of artists, writers, and startup types. the vibe is chill, people are actually open to talking, and the drinks are reasonable compared to the thonglor spots. they usually have some kind of opening or small event on weeknights too

for something more structured, there's a blockchain meetup at the True Digital Park near Punnawithi station if that's your thing. it's a bit of a trek but the crowd there tends to be younger and less pushy about selling you stuff. just grab a beer at the food court downstairs first

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
