Most temples in Bangkok have small shops or vendors nearby that sell amulets, but the main spot people go to is Wat Ratchanadda right near the Golden Mount. They have a whole market area called the Amulet Market on the ground floor of the temple complex, with hundreds of stalls selling everything from cheap souvenirs to serious collector pieces. If you want a more traditional experience, Wat Saket itself has a few monks who bless and sell amulets directly from the temple office. Just be ready to haggle a bit at the market stalls, they usually start high with tourists.

yeah Erawan is for praying, not for buying. try the amulet market near wat khao takrut or just walk around the vendors outside wat pho, tons of little stalls tucked along the side streets

If you're after the real amulet scene you should check out the area around Wat Mahathat near the Grand Palace. There's a whole alley called Tha Phra Chan that's packed with stalls and it's basically a hub for collectors and monks who bless stuff on the spot.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
