honestly for korean bbq that wont break the bank i'd hit up jang soo on sukhumvit 31. they do a solid set menu for like 400-500 baht per person and the banchan refills are free. the meat quality is decent for that price range, not the top tier stuff but way better than those all-you-can-eat places on rca

if you want more of a korean food fix than just bbq, arirang near asok is my go-to for jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk. it's in a little soi off sukhumvit 21, easy to miss but the ajumma running it knows her stuff. portions are huge and most dishes are under 300 baht

You should check out Seoul Kitchen on Soi Thonglor 10. They do the charcoal grill tables which gives the meat a much better flavor than gas grills, and their pork belly set is around 600 baht for two people. The kimchi jjigae there is also pretty solid if you want something soupy alongside the bbq.

For a different vibe, there's a small spot called Kimpo near Ekkamai BTS that does really good naengmyeon and bibimbap. It's in a shophouse just off Soi Sukhumvit 63, easy to walk past but the cold noodles are refreshing and only about 200 baht. They also have a lunch special during weekdays that includes a small grill set with a few sides.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
