yeah you can get prep at most big pharmacies in bangkok no prescription needed. the ones on sukhumvit road like medconsult or the pharmacy at bumrungrad hospital are reliable, just ask for tenofovir/emtricitabine. expect to pay around 2000-2500 baht for a 30-day supply, cheaper than back home usually

if you're near sukhumvit soi 11 there's a pharmacy called medconsult that's open 24/7, they stock it no questions asked. i've grabbed prep there at 2am before when i ran out, it was 2100 baht for 30 days. just bring your passport or a copy, some places want to see ID for prep since it's a controlled med technically

one thing to keep in mind is that if you're near the thong lor bts area, the pharmacy at the villa market on sukhumvit soi 33 is low-key and has it behind the counter. they're not pushy and the pharmacist usually double-checks if you've taken it before. also, a 30-day supply ran me 1900 baht last month which was a bit less than what i've seen near nana

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
