Actionpark in Bangkok?

Hi I am looking for all kind of "Actionparks" in BKK.

I didnt know how to call it otherwise...

Stuff like: American Gladiator Arenas / Parkours / Any kind of sporty/non violent game / etc.?

The outdoor gym setups around the city are worth a look if you want to train without paying anything. Benchakitti Park's got that new elevated track and some pull-up bars near the lake that the parkour crowd uses, but the real sleeper is the calisthenics station at Lumphini Park's north end, it's got parallel bars and rings that draw a friendly regular crew most evenings. For something with more structure, there's a spot called The Arena at Central Plaza Rama 2 that does combat archery and bubble soccer on weekends, it's a bit out of the way but they rent everything and the staff will set up a small tournament if you bring a group. Also, if you're up for a drive, the go-kart track at Easy Kart in Bang Na has a separate drifting pad and they host timed challenge nights on Thursdays, it's more adrenaline than actionpark but the competitive vibe scratches a similar itch. Most of these places are dead quiet on weekday afternoons, which is when I'd go, especially since the humidity drops a bit after 4pm.

so you got the obvious ones covered already, but nobody mentioned the ninja warrior gym at Bang Kapi called Battle Zone, it's next to the old movie theater and it's way more hardcore than the mall stuff, they got spinning logs and a rope ladder that'll humble you fast. it's like 200 baht for a full day pass which is stupid cheap compared to Bounce. also if you're into the gladiator vibe specifically, the Muay Thai gyms around Ratchada do these weekend open gym sessions where you can try the pad work and rope climbs, not exactly an actionpark but you'll sweat more than any trampoline place.

for something totally different, there's a spot called Circus Academy near Bang Wa that does aerial silks and trampoline tumbling, it's mostly kids during the day but adults get the place after 7pm and you can just mess around on the crash mats. they're super chill about letting you try stuff. and if you want the real local experience, hit up the night market at Srinakarin on a Friday, there's a pop-up archery range and one of those inflatable gladiator jousting things that's always packed with drunk locals, it's not a permanent park but it's the most fun you'll have for like 50 baht a round.

You're describing what locals usually call "sport complex" spots or "adventure parks," and Bangkok has a few solid ones beyond the obvious trampoline joints. If you're into the Gladiator-style obstacle stuff, check out Bounce Terminal at The Street Ratchada, they have a ninja course section alongside the trampolines, it gets busy on weekends so go weekday mornings. For something more outdoorsy, Flow House on Sukhumvit Soi 26 has a stationary surf wave that's more about balance than violence, and they do stand-up paddle yoga on some days. Parkour is trickier, the community mostly trains at Benjakitti Park near Asok, especially the concrete ledges around the lake, but it's informal, you'd just show up and join the group that's usually there after 4pm. If you want a proper arena with foam pits and warped walls, Urban Playground at Central Eastville is newer and less crowded than Bounce, they've got a dodgeball court too. Prices run about 300 to 500 baht for two hours depending on the place, so it's not cheap but not crazy either.

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
