Hi all,

Planning to spend 10 days in Bangkok, in which 5 will be WFH. Are there any good Co-working spaces providing: - a good internet (I work in games, so I'll be pulling a lot of files often) - power outlets. - Coffee, since it is the equivalent of sugar for programmers. - (optional) the atmosphere of nerds working.

Due to my timezone I'll be working from 1pm to 8pm BKK time. So I will have the mornings and nights to do touristy stuff.

If it is close to Sukhumvit would be nice since this is where I plan to rent since I've heard its safe. Ideally I don't wanna commute and taking a walk instead would be appreciated.

I hate working from "home" since I get distracted. A place where I see people working helps me focus.

Thanks !

The Hive on Thonglor is worth a look. It's tucked down Soi Sukhumvit 55, about a 10 minute walk from Thong Lo BTS, and the internet handles heavy file transfers well. Day passes run around 400 baht with decent drip coffee included, and the crowd leans toward creative and tech types so you get that heads-down atmosphere.

Mornings you can wander down to the local markets or hit one of the rooftop pools nearby. The walk from the BTS through the soi is pleasant enough, lots of trees and little cafes to break up the commute.

honestly skip starbucks for actual work. check out the hq coworking on sukhumvit 39, it's a short walk from phrom phong bts. internet is solid, i've pulled 50gb+ files there without issues. they have a decent coffee bar and the crowd is mostly devs and designers so you get that focused vibe.

pricing is like 300-400 baht for a day pass which includes coffee. way better than fighting for outlets at a cafe. plus mornings you're free to hit the rooftop pools or explore emsphere which is right there.

just camp at a starbucks in emquartier tbh. wifi is decent and you'll see other people on laptops all day

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
