ngl rajadamnern is the classic choice but if you're looking for something a bit more raw, hit up muay thai at lumphini stadium on a tuesday or thursday. it's usually a bit less crowded than rajadamnern and the fights start around 6:30pm. tickets run about 1500 baht for ringside but you can find cheaper ones online if u book ahead. also, if you're okay with a more local vibe, there's a small gym off silom soi 12 called fa group muay thai that does training sessions most weeknights and you can just watch from the sidewalk for free

honestly just go to rajadamnern stadium on a wednesday, they have fights almost every week and the atmosphere is way more authentic than the touristy spots. the tickets are around 1000-2000 baht depending on where u sit, you can grab them at the gate no problem. if you want something cheaper, channel 7 stadium has free fights on sundays but that's not a weekday so maybe not what you're after.

check out muay thai at saranrom park on a wednesday evening, it's a free outdoor thing put on by the tourism authority from like 6pm. not as polished as the stadiums but u get to sit right up close and it's got a nice community vibe with locals hanging out. if you're near sukhumvit, soi 20 has a small gym called sitjaopho that does open sparring sessions on weeknights, you can watch for free from the street

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
