Hi,

English is not my first language.

I am going 5 days in Bangkok for work and 2 of them are completely free.

I already been to Bangkok and absolutely loved it. My few days were mostly around market food and monuments (Grand Palace...).

I am a fan of luxure and food. Before I get attacked, YES, everytime I go to a country I do the following wherever it is even if I have to save for months.

To be more precise, I love palaces hotel (huge fan) the architecture, the service, the pool, the views, the decoration (super important), and FOOD!

Do you guys have any ideas of insane hotels, insane restaurants, places with insane views I can go to ?

Mind blowing tea time/brunch/buffet? I would go to 200 $ for 1 person. I eat everythng. Do you have something original/crazy/a discovery or food we don't eat everyday? Michelin stars you have tried?

Do you know any Day pass of a luxurious hotel with a crazy infinity pool? (Siam) No limit of price. A place to chill/drink/eat with a nice déco/music ?

I already have my hotel booked by my company so a pass would work well.

Any experiences that impressed you I take it.

I will be alone and I want to treat myself.

Thanks for your help!

honestly the rooftop bar at the Peninsula is insane, they have a afternoon tea set with a view of the river and the Wat Arun glowing in the distance, it's around $100 and feels super exclusive

if you want a day pass for a pool, check out the W Bangkok, their pool is on the 6th floor but the vibe is way more modern and clubby with cabanas and a bar, plus the decoration is all bold colors and neon so it's a total vibe

For a day pass with a killer infinity pool, look into the Lebua at State Tower. Their Sky Bar is the famous one from The Hangover, but the real treat is the pool deck itself, it's massive and has that direct view of the Chao Phraya river bending around the city. You can book a "day use" room or a spa treatment to get access, which is cheaper than a full night.

For a meal that feels like a performance, try Sorn. It's a two-Michelin-star spot serving Southern Thai food, and getting a reservation is the hard part, but if you can, the 20-course menu uses ingredients like wild betel leaves and mud crabs you won't see at street stalls. It's around $200 per person with the wine pairing, and the setting is a restored old house with dark wood and open kitchen counters.

If you want something more chill with great decor, the Bamboo Bar at the Mandarin Oriental is a classic. It's a jazz bar with a 1940s art deco feel, dark leather and bamboo panels, and their afternoon tea is a proper three-tier spread with scones and little cakes. It's about $60 per person and you get the river view from the hotel's terrace after.

man, just search "bangkok michelin brunch" or "bangkok hotel day pass infinity pool" and you'll find the same lists everyone uses. but fine. the ritz-carlton residences bangkok has a pool on the 20th floor that's basically empty

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
