Best way to reach Wat Arun from Khlong Toei area?

Bus 53 from Khlong Toei goes straight to Tha Tien Pier, just get off at the end of the line. It's not the fastest ride but it drops you right at the pier entrance. From there the cross-river ferry to Wat Arun is 4 baht and takes two minutes. If you want to skip the bus entirely, take a motorcycle taxi from Khlong Toei to the Sathorn Pier for about 40 baht, then grab the orange flag boat to Tha Tien.

honestly the easiest way from khlong toei is to grab a motorbike taxi to sathorn pier (like 40 baht) then hop on the orange flag boat to tha tien, it's pretty direct. from there the cross-river ferry to wat arun is like 4 baht and takes 2 mins. if you really wanna do bus, the 53 will get u to tha tien but it can take forever in traffic, not worth the hassle imo

just take the bts to saphan taksin then grab the orange flag ferry. way easier than any bus mess from khlong toei. bus route 4 or 53 will get u close to tha tien but you'll still be walking and it's slow as hell tbh. damn

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
