Where to buy cute phone cases in Bangkok?

For context i'm staying in Ratchathewi and i've gone to mbk, but since it's an IT mall i feel the cases are.. mostly just functional? Most of the stuff i find interesting on google if i search "phone case bangkok" are unfortunately online stores only.

Willing to go kinda far as long as it's still within bangkok, preferably near bts/mrt station or still within walking distance from them

honestly skip the malls and head to siam square soi 2-4, there's a bunch of little shops tucked in between the cafes that sell those aesthetic girly cases with straps and charms. i got a super cute clear one with a built-in mirror for like 350 baht last month. also worth checking fortune town near rama 9 mrt, it's more gadgety than mbk but the basement level has some stalls with imported japanese style cases that mbk doesn't carry

check out the shops in platinum mall near pratunam, not just the clothes floors but the basement and upper levels have tons of cute trendy cases for cheap, like under 200 baht sometimes. also if u walk towards samyan from ratchathewi there's some random stalls along the street that sell kpop style cases n stuff

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
