Any bars to watch UFC in Bangkok?

Final match probably going to be in the afternoon tomorrow as far as the timeline is concerned. Where can I enjoy it on a lovely Sunday? Final match probably going to be in the afternoon tomorrow as far as the timeline is concerned. Where can I enjoy it on a lovely Sunday?

for a sunday afternoon u could also try The Pickled Liver on Soi 11/1. its a bit hidden down a small alley but theyve got a few tvs and the owner is a big mma fan so he usually puts the fights on. quieter than The Sportsman or The Game, good if u want to actually hear the commentary. beers are like 120 baht a pint which is pretty standard for that area.

If you're near Thonglor, WTF (Wanderlust Theater & Gallery) on Soi 51 does the occasional UFC screening and it's a much more relaxed spot than the Sukhumvit sports bars. They've got a decent craft beer selection and the crowd is usually a mix of locals and expats who actually want to watch the fight rather than just get drunk. Call ahead to confirm they're showing it though, they don't always advertise it.

ngl there's a newer spot called Jai Thai Fight Bar on Soi 33/1 that barely anyone knows about yet. they just opened a few months back and the owner is a former muay thai fighter who loves ufc. small place maybe 5 tvs but the sound is always on and they do 99 baht chang towers during afternoon fights. bit of a hike from the bts but thats why its quiet

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
