Looking for 1 bedroom 40,000 baht per month.

honestly for 40k a month near BTS you should check out The Residence Rajdamri. its not on Sukhumvit but its a 2 min walk to Rajdamri BTS which connects to both Silom and Sukhumvit lines. the one bedrooms there are proper big like 50sqm+ and the monthly rate is usually 35-38k so you save a bit. pool is small but the location is super quiet cause its off the main road

another one thats slept on is The Sac Sathorn. its a bit further at Surasak BTS but the rooms are brand new and they do monthly contracts with no deposit hassle. 1 bedroom runs about 38-42k depending on floor. the rooftop pool has actual views of the river which is nice for winding down after work

theres also Centre Point Sukhumvit 10 which is between Nana and Asok. not as fancy as the others but the monthly rate is closer to 35k and you get a full kitchen which is rare for serviced apartments in that price range. just be aware the traffic on Soi 10 can be a pain during rush hour

I'd add Fraser Suites Sukhumvit to your list. It's on Soi 11, about a 4 minute walk to Nana BTS, and their one bedrooms usually come in around 38-42k for monthly stays. The rooms have proper kitchenettes with a stove and full sized fridge, which makes a difference when you're there for a month and get tired of eating out every meal.

The building also has a decent gym and the staff are used to handling long term guests, so you won't get weird looks when you ask for extra towels or want to split the bill into two payments. Just be aware that Soi 11 gets loud on weekend nights, so ask for a room facing the back if you're a light sleeper.

For that budget and a proper serviced apartment with a front desk, not a private rental, look at the Somerset Sukhumvit Thonglor. It's a 3 minute walk to Thonglor BTS and they do monthly rates that fit right around 40k for a one bedroom. The building has a decent pool and they handle all the utilities and cleaning without any surprise charges.

Another option is the Oakwood Residence Sukhumvit 24, which is a bit closer to Phrom Phong BTS. The rooms there are a bit more modern and the monthly rate for a one bedroom usually lands right at your budget if you negotiate with the sales office directly. They also have a solid coworking space on the ground floor which is handy for longer stays.

I would skip the ones right on Sukhumvit Road itself, the traffic noise can get annoying after a few weeks. Both of these are set back enough that you get some quiet.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
