honestly check out the shops near Chatuchak weekend market, there's a whole section for herbs and traditional medicine. a few wholesalers on Kamphaeng Phet 2 road have bulk deals if you walk past the tourist stalls. prices are usually better than Chinatown for this specific thing though you might need to negotiate a bit

I think there's a spot on Charoen Krung road near Saphan Taksin BTS that does bulk herb exports. They're called something like Thaibiotics or similar, not the flashiest shop but they have the real stuff. Might be worth calling ahead first cause theyre not always open to walk-ins

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
