i want to check out a few gyms. my favorite gym is in Khlong Toei, so i want to be within 10-30 min max from that
ive been looking at some places in thonglor. does anyone live in park origins and what are your thoughts on it?
please help π as my current apt situation is so fucked and i would very much like to move to a place thats nice and worth it.

75k to 111k is a solid range for bangkok, you'll be fine. thonglor is nice but honestly overpriced for what you get, park origins is decent but the units are small for the price and the common areas feel a bit sterile. if your gym is in khlong toei, look at asok or phrom phong instead, you'll save money and be closer to the gym with better bts access. places like the room or ideo mix are more modern and you can find a 1 bed for around 65-80k that's actually worth it.
yeah 75-111k is totally doable, you're fine. honestly i'd skip thonglor for what you're describing, it's trendy but the traffic getting in and out to khlong toei will eat your time. look at the area around ekkamai 12 or sukhumvit 63, there's a newer condo called the essence that's modern with a decent gym and pool, you can get a 1 bed for around 80k and you're 15 min from khlong toei by motorbike or 20 by taxi if traffic's light. park origins is okay but the walls are thin and the management is slow, i've had friends complain about noise from the bts line running past it.
Honestly with that budget I'd skip Thonglor and look at Phrom Phong instead. The Room Sukhumvit 38 or the newer Siamese place near Asok will get you a nice modern one bed for 70-90k and you'll be way closer to Khlong Toei for your gym. Thonglor's great for nightlife but getting in and out for daily stuff is a pain.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
