If you're near the BTS, stop by the Artbox market when it's on. They usually have a few vendors selling those foldable backpacks from local brands, and the quality is hit or miss but you can find one with a padded laptop slot for around 500 to 700 baht. The vendors there are more design-focused than the Chatuchak stalls, so the stitching and zippers tend to hold up better. Just check the weight capacity if you're carrying a heavy laptop, some of the lighter fabrics won't handle it for long.

honestly check out the travel stores at central world or siam paragon, they usually have better quality ones than the markets. the decathlon at mega bangna has a decent packable one for like 400 baht that folds into its own pocket but no laptop sleeve

if u want a laptop compartment specifically, the uniqlo ones are solid and around 790 baht, they have a store at central chidlom. markets like chatuchak will have knockoffs but the zippers tend to die after a few months in my experience

yeah mbk center or terminal 21 has plenty of those cheap foldable ones with laptop slots. markets like chatuchak also have a ton but u gotta dig through junk half the time. this is literally asked every damn week lol just search the sub

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
