What is Namsaah Bottling Trust now?

I saw my favourite restaurant had closed since last in Bangkok! Does anyone know what (if anything!) the building is used for now, or if there are any plans to reopen a restaurant there? honestly if you're looking for that old Namsaah charm, the closest thing i've found is a spot called Sorn in Thonglor. not the same vibe at all, it's way more upscale and you need a reservation months out, but the chef actually trained under the same lineage. the space on Sathorn is just a party spot now, Sugar does events but it's loud and not really a dinner place. Khao on Ekkamai is solid but i'd skip it if you want something more casual, try Sri Trat instead, it's a bit further out but the flavors are closer to what Namsaah used to do

The space has been taken over by a club and event venue called Sugar. It opened about a year ago. They do host parties and private events, but it's not a restaurant anymore, so don't go expecting dinner. If you're craving that old Namsaah vibe, you might try Khao over on Ekkamai 10, it's a different style but the owners worked with the same chef.

Yeah it's been Sugar for a while now, more of a club vibe. I don't think there's any plan to bring back a restaurant there, the owners moved on to other projects around town.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
