yeah those groups are wild, i've seen screenshots floating around from friends who are in them. mostly it's just girls venting about bad sex or guys who try to skip payment after agreeing to it, but sometimes they post actual names and photos which is sketchy af. 300 comments prob means you left an impression one way or another, could be good or bad tbh. if you're worried, maybe ask a thai friend who's in the group to check for you, most of them are private but not that hard to get into

honestly 300 comments is pretty high even for those groups, i've had a thai friend scroll through one before and most posts get like 10-20 replies max. the big threads are usually when someone posts a screenshot of a convo where the guy got caught lying about his age or relationship status, or when theres a clear warning about stds or aggressive behavior. if your dates arent telling you what was said, it might be because they dont want to admit they were lurking in the group themselves.

Those groups are a mixed bag. I've had a Thai friend look into it for me once and it was mostly harmless stuff like "he talks too much" or "took too long to shower." The 300 comments thing is unusual though, that typically means someone posted identifying info like your workplace or a clear face photo. If you're really curious, ask a Thai female friend you trust to join and search your name. Just be aware that once you're in their radar, deleting your dating profiles for a month or two usually makes it die down since they move on to new targets pretty fast.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
