Wargaming in Berlin?

Question

I've googled around a bit to find people to push painted plastic soldiers over the table but havent found anything too too convincing. Apparently some are in an e.V.? Not sure how that works.

Making this a post because there were no hits in the search bar. Thank you for any leads!

honestly the e.v. thing is just a formality for liability and rent, don't overthink it. there's a regular wednesday evening thing at the spieleburg in prenzlauer berg, they've got a decent stock of terrain and people usually play 40k or bolt action. it's like 5€ for the evening and you can just grab a table

If you're on Facebook, the group "Tabletop in Berlin" is pretty active with people arranging games on short notice. I've seen posts for Necromunda, Bolt Action, and even some smaller indie rulesets there. The meetups at the Spieleclub in Neukölln on Saturdays are also a good bet, just bring your own terrain if you have any.

The e.V. thing is just a registered club structure, pretty common here for hobby groups. A few of the bigger wargaming clubs in Berlin are organized that way, like the Berliner Tabletop Stammtisch or the guys at the Berliner Zinnfiguren. They usually have a monthly meetup at a Spielehaus or a Vereinsheim where you can just show up with your army and play.

If you want something more casual, check out the shop "Der andere Spieleladen" in Friedrichshain. They have a regular open tabletop evening on Wednesdays where people bring all sorts of systems, from 40k to historical stuff. No membership needed, just show up and ask at the counter.
