Is there anywhere to get a Thai massage between 7am and 9am? I drop off my daughter to school at 7 and dont have to start work till 9, but most legit massage shops seem to open at 10am. there's a small shop tucked in the alley behind the big lotus on sukhumvit 50 that opens at 730. no name in english really, just a green sign with thai writing. they do a decent 30 minute foot massage for 150 baht, which is perfect for that time slot. the lady who runs it has been there for years and does a mean shoulder press. just bring cash and maybe call first if you can find the number on google maps

You might try the massage places inside the bigger condos around Phrom Phong. Some of them open their doors around 8am because they know residents are heading out for the day. The one in the back of The Emporio on Soi 24 has a sign saying they start at 8, and it's a proper shop with a license on the wall, not one of the shady ones. Just walk in past the security guard and take the lift to the second floor.

honestly most of the legit spots around thong lo and ekkamai won't open til 10 or 11, but you might have luck at the little street-side places tucked in the soi off sukhumvit. there's one near phra khanong bts that opens super early for the locals, think it's called something like "aunty massage" on soi 71. they do a solid quick oil or thai for cheap, just cash only

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
