I'd try the Facebook groups for Coldplay Bangkok tickets, there's usually a few people reselling there closer to the date. Just be careful with scammers though, meet in person like you said.

try the Coldplay Thailand fan pages on facebook, there's one called Coldplay Thailand Army that always has ticket swap posts closer to the date. also check the app "Kaidee" it's like our local olx, people list tickets there sometimes. just filter for Bangkok and meet at a 7-Eleven or CentralWorld, tons of people around so it's safe

honestly your best bet might be checking the Thai ticketing platforms like ThaiTicketMajor resale threads or Pantip marketplace. a lot of locals sell there at face value closer to the date because plans change last minute. just make sure you meet at a BTS station or a mall like Siam Paragon where its busy and safe. also worth asking in the Bangkok expat groups on Line, people sell there all the time without the scalper markup

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
