the bnh hospital aesthetic center on soi children is worth looking into too, it's where a lot of thai celebs go so they're pretty strict about quality. i went for a consult a few months back and they showed me the actual machine serial numbers which was reassuring, and the price was around 12k baht per area which is midrange for bangkok. just make sure you confirm which sculpsure model they use because the older ones take way longer and hurt more

honestly the bigger hospitals like bumrungrad have their aesthetic clinics that do sculpsure and they're super strict about cleanliness. you'll pay a premium but they have actual doctors on staff not just nurses. if you're on a budget check out clinic cherie in ekkamai, they have the legit candela machine and do package deals around 8000-12000 baht per area. just make sure you ask to see the machine before they start, some places show you one and use a different one.

check out the skin clinic at samitivej sukhumvit, they do sculpsure with the newer coolsculpting machines too if u want to compare. prices are fair for a hospital-grade place, think like 8-10k baht per session depending on the area. thailand's pretty regulated so any legit clinic will have the actual fda-approved devices, just ask to see the machine before u commit

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
