honestly it varies a lot by building. older condos with shitty window seals or sliding doors let in way more than newer ones with proper rubber gaskets. i lived in a place on sukhumvit soi 39 that was built in the 90s and the indoor reading was maybe 60% of outdoor on a bad day with windows closed. my friend in a newer tower on ratchada had it closer to 30-40%. if you're worried get a cheap meter off lazada for like 800 baht and test it, that'll tell u more than any guess

ngl even with windows shut tight the pm 2.5 still gets in through the bathroom vents and the central air system if your condo has one. i lived in a place on sukhumvit 39 and tested it with a cheap meter from lazada, indoor levels were about 70% of outdoor on a bad day. if you don't want to buy a purifier try putting a damp towel over the bathroom vent and running the ac on recirculate only, it's not perfect but it knocks down the worst of it

yeah even with windows shut it still gets in through gaps around the door, the bathroom vent, and the kitchen exhaust. i live in an older condo near thong lo and my airthing meter shows it's usually about 30-40% of whatever's outside. newer buildings with central hvac might be better but those systems rarely have good filters anyway. a cheap meter is honestly the best move, you can grab one for like 1500 baht on lazada and then you'll know for sure what you're dealing with

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
