Any onsens/bath houses in Bangkok?

Are there any of such places in Bangkok? Not looking into places where "stuff" happens, just your good ol' onsen, but any recommendation will do. Are there any of such places in Bangkok? Not looking into places where "stuff" happens, just your good ol' onsen, but any recommendation will do.

honestly not many real onsens here since thailand isn't volcanic like japan. yunomori onsen at a-square on sukhumvit 26 is the closest you'll get, they have separate male/female sections with mineral baths and a cold pool. another option is let's relax spa but they do more of a soak tub thing rather than proper onsen. both are clean and chill, no weird stuff going on

tbh the best onsen experience i've had in bangkok isn't even marketed as one. try the japanese style bath at let's relax spa on sukhumvit 55. they have a proper soaking tub with mineral water and a cold pool, plus a steam room. it's part of their spa package so you need to book a massage or body scrub to use it, but the cheapest option is around 1200 baht for a 60 minute thai massage and you get the bath access before or after. way more authentic than most standalone places cause they actually maintain the temperature and cleanliness standards like you'd expect in japan

also worth mentioning there's a small onsen at the eastin grand hotel sathorn but it's only for hotel guests. if you know someone staying there ask them to sneak u in, the rooftop one has a view over the city which is pretty unique for bangkok

honestly if you want something that feels more like a proper japanese sento rather than a spa, try the public bath at the radisson blu plaza on sukhumvit soi 3. it's inside the hotel but they sell day passes for like 400 baht, has a decent hot pool, cold dip, and a steam room. not as fancy as yunomori but way less crowded and cheaper, plus you can grab a beer at the lobby bar after

another one i dont see mentioned much is the onsen at the grand centre point sukhumvit 55. it's in the basement near thong lor, small but really well maintained, japanese run, and they have an outdoor foot bath area that's nice when the weather isnt too hot. entry is around 500 baht last i checked

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
