honestly for sylvanian families i'd skip the big malls and head to seacon square, the toy floor there is huge and they've got a dedicated section thats usually well stocked. the prices are more reasonable than mega bangna too, i picked up a calico critter house there last month for like 300 baht less than what toy r us was charging. just go on a weekday afternoon when its quiet, the weekends are a zoo

if you're looking for sylvanian families specifically, central ladprao has a pretty solid selection at the toy section on the 4th floor. not the biggest store but they usually stock more than the usual mega plaza spots. for sheer size though, mega bangna's toy r us is your best bet, it's massive and they have a dedicated area for calico critters near the back. fair warning, the prices there can be a bit higher than what you'd find at the little shops in mbk center if you don't mind hunting around

try central world, the toy section on 6th floor has a decent calico critter display. not as big as mega bangna but it's way easier to get to on the bts

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
