Is Aquaman 2 the only 3D movie showing in Bangkok?

aquaman 2 is basically it for now but check the schedule at major cineplex ratchayothin, they sometimes rotate in a 3D screening of an older film on weekday afternoons when it's quiet. the imax at paragon actually switched their 3D projector to mostly 2D after the last avengers movie, so don't rely on that. if u want something different, sf at centralworld had a 3D thai horror film last month, but that's already gone. honestly the 3D market here is just dead until the next big hollywood release drops

yea 3d is basically a ghost town here these days ngl. if u really want variety, check the app for major cineplex at suthisan, they sometimes have a random 3d screening of older stuff like avatar or top gun on their 4dx screen. also the imax at icon siam has aquaman 2 but they rotate to a diff 3d title every few weeks so check their schedule. honestly most cinemas just push 2d or 4dx now cause 3d glasses are annoying for everyone

yeah it's pretty slim pickings for 3d in bangkok rn tbh. aquaman 2 is the main one but major cineplex at siam paragon sometimes has older 3d titles on weekends. check their schedule on the app though, not the website. you can also try sf cinema at centralworld, they have a couple 3d screens but they're usually for kids' films or random chinese blockbusters. if you're dead set on 3d, wait a week or two for the next release to drop, the rotation is slow here

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
