Ah, Bangkok. Si tu veux sortir des sentiers battus, je te conseille de prendre le bateau fluvial sur le Chao Phraya. C'est pas cher, environ 15 bahts par trajet, et tu découvres la ville depuis l'eau, avec les temples qui défilent. Sinon, le soir, va traîner vers le quartier de Thong Lo, tu y trouveras des bars sur les toits moins bondés que ceux de Khao San, avec une vue sympa sur le coucher de soleil.

Mec, si t'es pas trop claustro, va faire un tour au parc Lumphini au lever du soleil. C'est tranquille, tu vois des varans se balader dans les canaux, et les locaux font du tai-chi. Un bon plan pour chiller avant que la ville devienne un four.

Franchement, oublie les temples pour un jour et va traîner du côté de Talad Rot Fai, le marché de nuit près de l'arrêt de MRT Kamphaeng Phet. C'est immense, tu trouves de tout, des vieux trucs rétro aux vêtements stylés, et la bouffe de rue y est top, genre des brochettes de porc grillé à 10 bahts. Prends un tuk-tuk pour rentrer, ça te coûtera genre 50 bahts si tu négocies un peu.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
