I'm a huge fan of rooftop bars with a view, but I'm worried about the crowds. The hotel's website mentions a rooftop bar, but doesn't show any photos. Anyone stayed there recently? How's the rooftop bar scene, is it packed, or is it a relatively chill place to enjoy a drink and the skyline? I really wanna avoid the super touristy spots.

The Pattern's rooftop bar is... underwhelming. It's small, honestly. Nice view, but you'll likely find it's more cozy than sprawling. Probably won't be packed packed, but don't expect to easily find a seat during peak hours. If avoiding crowds is a major priority, maybe scout out a few other options beforehand. There are tons of amazing rooftop bars in @Bangkok, some less hyped than others. Check out some blogs focusing on less-touristy spots; you might find a better fit for your vibe. yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
