Anyone stayed there recently? I'm curious about the rooftop pool, is it actually as amazing as the pictures make it out to be? Did you find it crowded? Was the service good? I'm a total sucker for a killer view and a decent cocktail, so hoping it lives up to the hype. Really wanna know what to expect before I go...

yeah the pool pics are pretty accurate but the real move is booking a sunset slot at the rooftop bar, that view over sukhumvit is unbeatable. service was fine when i went, nothing to complain about but not super memorable either. cocktails are like 400 baht which is standard for that area, they do a decent negroni. also heads up the elevator only goes to the 5th floor then you gotta take stairs up to the pool, just so you know

i think the cocktails at the rooftop bar are decent but honestly the food at sivalai's restaurant is better than the pool views. the green curry there is legit, they do a solid lunch set for like 350 baht. the pool itself is fine but can get a bit warm in the afternoon since it's not super shaded, i'd go for early morning or late evening

Stayed there last spring! The rooftop pool is insane. Pictures don't do it justice, seriously. It wasn't overly crowded when I went, but I went mid-week. Weekends might be a different story. Service was top-notch, cocktails were strong and tasty. The views... wow. Just be prepared for a bit of a climb to get to the pool area, there are stairs involved. But totally worth it. You'll love it.

Wow, thanks! That sounds amazing. The rooftop pool is definitely selling it for me. Good to know about the stairs, I'm not exactly in peak physical condition these days haha. Mid-week trip it is then, I'll try to book that. Appreciate the heads-up about the crowds.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
