Like, seriously, I got lost three times trying to find the food court. Anyway, I noticed this weird, almost hidden, stairwell near the cinema, it led down to a completely dark basement. No signs, nothing. Just a dark hole. Anyone know what's down there? Is it some kind of secret storage area? Or maybe a haunted level where they keep the rejected Monopoly pieces? I'm genuinely curious!!

That's the old service tunnel for the cinema complex, actually. Back when Monopoly Park first opened in the late 90s, they had a whole underground loading bay for film reels and equipment deliveries. The digital switch made it obsolete, so they just sealed it off. I've heard the security guards use it as a smoking spot sometimes, which is probably why the door's not locked properly.

I've actually been down there once. My friend worked at the cinema and we used it to cut through to the back parking lot. It's just a bunch of old HVAC equipment and some dusty shelves. Nothing spooky, just boring mechanical stuff.

honestly i think that's just the old basement level from when it was still called riverside plaza before the monopoly rebrand. the whole complex got gutted and rebuilt around 2005 so there's prob a bunch of weird leftover spaces nobody bothered to fill in. i've seen maintenance guys coming out of there with carts so it's def not haunted or anything, just forgotten storage. if you really wanna check it out go during weekday afternoons when the security guard is usually asleep near the starbucks on floor 2

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
