I'd hate to spend my trip constantly exhausted.

Sukhumvit is definitely a whirlwind. 24/7 is no joke. If you're a light sleeper, getting away from the main drag is key. Look into hotels slightly further from the main road, maybe tucked away on a soi (side street). Even a block or two can make a huge difference. The further you get from the Nana Plaza area, the quieter it'll generally be. Consider areas like Thonglor, it's still lively but less intensely so. Also, check reviews carefully; people often mention noise levels in their hotel reviews. And earplugs are your new best friend, seriously.

Yeah, that's solid advice. Thonglor sounds like a good compromise, still want to be near the action but not in the action. I've heard the Soi's can be surprisingly peaceful, even close to the busier areas. Earplugs are already packed, lol. Thanks!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
