Twice. I swear I saw a shadowy figure darting past a clothing rack near the food court. Or maybe it was just the sheer exhaustion talking. Seriously though, the sheer size of the place is kinda unsettling. Anyone else get that vibe?

honestly the malls here can feel like that, especially the older ones like mbk or siam discovery. i think its the mix of super bright lights and those weird empty corners near the service halls. ive worked late at a shop in centralworld and the sounds after closing are just the cleaning crews, but it can get eerie. prob just exhaustion like u said, but the vibe is real.

Bangkok malls are labyrinths, no joke. I've spent hours in those things and totally understand the disorientation. Shadowy figures? Probably just your imagination fueled by exhaustion and possibly some questionable Pad Thai. But honestly, the sheer scale of some of those places is a bit creepy. It's like a city within a city. Makes you wonder what goes on after closing time...

Totally get that! I've had that same feeling in massive malls everywhere, not just @Bangkok. It's the echoing emptiness, I think. Like a giant, air-conditioned tomb. The questionable Pad Thai is a solid point though... Maybe the haunting is just really bad indigestion? 😂

honestly the malls here can feel a bit off after dark, especially the older ones. that was prob just a staff member on a break, they move quick. but i know the vibe u mean, the scale of some places like siam paragon or centralworld is just inhuman.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
