Best Rooftop Bar?

So, I'm staying at this swanky hotel, The Pattern Boutique Hotel, right in the heart of everything. The views are insane, seriously, postcard-perfect. Spent the afternoon exploring little side streets… So, I'm staying at this swanky hotel, The Pattern Boutique Hotel, right in the heart of everything. The views are insane, seriously, postcard-perfect. Spent the afternoon exploring little side streets, stumbled on some amazing street food, I should of taken more pictures! Anyway, my question is, what's the best rooftop bar with a view that isn't too touristy? I'm hoping for something with a more local vibe, you know? I wanna experience the real @Bangkok nightlife, not just another tourist trap. Anyone got recommendations?

Check out Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar. It's got amazing views, a really cool atmosphere, and while it's not completely hidden from tourists, it definitely leans more towards a local crowd than some of the more aggressively touristy spots. Plus, their cocktails are top-notch. You'll probably still see some tourists, but it feels way less "organized tour group" than a lot of other places. Enjoy!

Sounds awesome! Thanks for the recommendation. Top-notch cocktails are a must. I appreciate the heads-up about the tourist level, definitely want to avoid the super-packed, overly-priced tourist traps. Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar is now on my list. I'll let you know how it goes!

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
