I've been following this on the Thai-language news side, and Prachachart and Khao Sod have been more detailed than English outlets like Bangkok Post. If you can paste the hotel name into Google Translate and search in Thai script, you might get results that aren't showing up internationally. Also try the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration's emergency page on their site, they post official updates with casualty lists.

yeah the tourist police hotline is solid but also try the Bangkok fire department dispatch at 199. they log where every call goes and which units responded so they can tell you exactly which hospital the person was taken to. also worth checking the hotels own instagram stories, a lot of them post updates in the highlights even when the main feed is quiet.

Check with the larger hospitals near Khao San Road or Pratunam, depending where the hotel was. Vajira Hospital and Police General Hospital usually get the first call for fire-related injuries in central Bangkok. You can call them directly and ask in English, they're used to tourists.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
