Finding my mom's family in Bangkok

I'm visiting Bangkok soon and want to reconnect with my mother's side of the family. I have some information but need help navigating Thai bureaucracy and language barriers.

That's a fantastic goal! Bangkok can be a bit overwhelming, but connecting with family is worth the effort. Have you considered contacting the local Tambon administration office (เทศบาลตำบล) in the area where your family is thought to be? They might have records or be able to point you in the right direction. Honestly, Nigerian embassy visa stuff is notoriously unpredictable. Early bird gets the worm, they say, so aiming for when they open is probably your best bet. But be prepared to spend a lot of time there regardless. Bring a book, snacks, and maybe a portable charger. Check their website (if they even have a decent one...) for any posted updates or announcements – sometimes they'll subtly hint at busier days. Good luck! You'll need it. This isn't exactly a secret handshake situation, more like a "brace yourself" situation.
