Bang Na BTS is actually your best bet, not the southernmost Sukhumvit stop. From Bang Na, take exit 1 and grab a motorbike taxi to Wat Bang Na pier, it's about 20 baht and takes five minutes. The orange flag ferries are the ones you want, they cost 4 baht and drop you right at the museum's back entrance. Just keep an eye on the time, the museum shuts down at 4pm and the ferry service gets spotty after 6pm.

yeah the other comments are right about Bang Na being your move. just a heads up tho, that 4 baht ferry is cash only, no card or rabbit so keep some coins handy. the naval museum is pretty low key, not super polished or anything, but the old ship models inside are cool if you're into that stuff. also the walk from the pier to the museum entrance is maybe 5 minutes through a quiet soi, nothing special but easy enough

The closest BTS stop to a pier is Bang Na, not the southernmost Sukhumvit stop. You'd want to take Bearing station exit 1, then a short taxi or motorbike to Wat Bang Na pier for the cross-river ferry. That ferry drops you near the Naval Museum entrance, it's about 4 baht and runs every 10-15 minutes. The museum itself is free but closes at 4pm, so go early.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
