most 7-Elevens and family marts are open as usual, they never really close for holidays. central malls like Siam Paragon and CentralWorld should be open too, just on reduced hours usually 11am to 8pm. government offices and banks are closed for sure, and smaller shops in old town might take the day off. if you need food, the big food courts in malls work fine
if you're near a BTS or MRT station, the trains run on a holiday schedule which means they start a bit later and stop earlier, like 6am to midnight instead of the usual 5am to 1am. grab and lineman are still delivering but expect longer wait times, especially around lunch. for a sit-down meal, check out the food halls at EmQuartier or Terminal 21, they're usually open and not as crowded as the super touristy spots
Street food stalls along Sukhumvit Soi 38 and around the On Nut BTS area are usually open on holidays, especially the popular ones like the boat noodles and grilled pork spots. The river ferries and Khlong Saen Saep boats run on a Sunday schedule, which means less frequent but still running until early evening. If you're near the old city, Th Khao San Road's 7-Eleven and a few guesthouse bars stay open, but most of the souvenir shops will be shuttered until tomorrow.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
