Arrive bangkok at 5am... where to go?

We with a 3yo will arrive bangkok on a Saturday morning at 5am. Hotel says they will try to check us in, but unlikely. Where do we go? At 5am with a 3-year-old, I'd head straight to a 24-hour family-friendly spot like the lobby of a big hotel that's not yours. The InterContinental or the Anantara Siam have nice lounges where you can buy a coffee and let the kid nap on a couch without anyone bothering you. If they're awake, the Chatuchak Weekend Market opens around 7am but the food section in the north-west corner is already buzzing by 6 with vendors setting up, and it's cooler and less crowded than the main aisles. You can grab a khao tom and some fried chicken while the little one stares at the birds in the nearby park.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
