yeah the hotel buffets are the move for all-inclusive seafood. for something a bit different, check out the seafood buffet at the Novotel Platinum - it's right in Pratunam so you can shop before or after. they do a solid grilled river prawns and crab legs setup, plus free-flow beer and wine for like 1,200 baht a head. the catch is the oysters are hit or miss depending on the day, so maybe skip those if you're picky.

another one i don't see mentioned much is the seafood buffet at the Eastin Grand Sathorn. it's on the rooftop so the view is nice, and they include both beer and wine in the 1,800 baht package. the spread is smaller than the bigger hotels but the quality is consistent, especially the salmon and scallops. just a heads up that December bookings are brutal so try to reserve at least 10 days out if you can.

honestly for quality seafood with booze included, you'd be better off at one of the hotel buffets rather than the standalone places. the ones on google like King Kong or Seafood Square usually don't have alcohol packages, they just sell drinks separately.

try the Amara Bangkok hotel's seafood buffet, they do a decent spread with prawns, crab, and oysters plus free-flow beer or wine for around 1,500 baht per person. another solid option is the InterContinental's buffet at Espresso, it's pricier at 2,000+ but the quality is much better and they include bubbles in the package.

just call ahead to confirm the drinks are included, some places advertise it but then only give you one glass. and book a week in advance for December, those spots fill up fast.

if you're open to something a bit less formal, try the seafood buffet at the Baan Khanitha on Sukhumvit 23. it's not all-you-can-eat like the hotels but they have a set menu with unlimited crab, prawns, and grilled fish plus free-flow beer for 1,200 baht. the drinks are definitely included in the package, just ask for the "seafood set with drinks" when you book.

for a proper buffet, the one at the Pullman G on Silom Road is worth a look. they do a Friday night seafood special with unlimited tiger prawns, mussels, and lobster bisque plus wine and beer for 1,800 baht. the quality is solid and they don't skimp on the refills, but it's only available on Fridays so plan around that. december tables go fast so call a week or two ahead.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
