honestly if you're in Asoke you could also check out Absolute Yoga at Terminal 21, it's right there in the mall above the BTS. They don't always advertise the 108 thing publicly but the teachers sometimes do an informal session on new years morning if enough people show up. worth asking at the front desk a day or two before, the staff there are pretty chill about it. plus you're already in the area so no need to walk far in the heat

Another option is The Yoga Barn just off Soi 26, not far from Phrom Phong BTS. They've done the 108 in past years too, though their session tends to be later in the morning around 9 or 10. It's a smaller studio so you might want to message them on Line to check availability. The vibe there is a bit more chill than Yoga Elements if you prefer a quieter start to the year.

Yoga Elements on Sukhumvit 31 usually does a 108 sun salutations session on New Year's morning. It's about a 10 minute walk from Asoke BTS, down Soi 31 past a few cafes. The led practice starts around 7 or 8 am and costs maybe 500 baht if you're not a member. I'd call ahead to confirm since they don't always post the schedule far in advance.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
