Photoshoot recommendations? Particular those who do Boudoir & Nude

I took a quick search on google and found some places that charge a pretty penny, though they seem like they might be world famous. I took a quick search on google and found some places that charge a pretty penny, though they seem like they might be world famous.

Boudoir and nude work is a bit of a niche in Bangkok but there are some photographers who do it well without the insane studio prices. Check out Waraporn Sirirat or look for "nude art photography Bangkok" on Facebook groups rather than Google. The famous studios you found are probably charging for the name and the fancy sets, but local talent often works with natural light in condos or rented spaces for a fraction of the price. Sukhumvit Soi 71 has a few co-working style photo studios you can rent by the hour if you want to bring your own photographer.

honestly the thai photographer scene on instagram is way better than google for this. search for #ถ่ายภาพแนวเซ็กซี่ or #boudoirbangkok and you'll find local shooters who do amazing work for like 2000-4000 baht. most of them work from condos or rented airbnbs in the ratchada area, way cheaper than those sukhumvit studios charging 15000+. just check their tagged posts to see real client work, not just portfolio shots

ngl the google results are mostly overpriced tourist traps. if you're comfortable with it, try the thai photographer groups on line instead of facebook, that's where the real community is. a friend used a photographer from the "ช่างภาพศิลปะ" (art photographer) line group and paid like 3000 baht for a full session. just search in thai and use google translate, you'll find way better deals. most of them work out of airbnb-style studios near ekkamai or thong lo

best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026

Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but I've always found their som tam a bit tame on the pla ra. If you want the real funky version, try the shophouse spots along Soi Udomsuk 26, near the night market end. They pound it fresh with fermented fish that'll clear your sinuses, and it's like 60 baht. Different style from the On Nut places, more Lao-leaning.

for som tam specifically i'd say the Isaan spots in Chatuchak are underrated, weekdays only though since the weekend crowd ruins the vibe. there's a stall near gate 2 that does tam pa with fermented bamboo shoots, super sour and funky, not something you see much in On Nut. if you're already heading north for Or Tor Kor anyway its worth the detour.

honestly the som tam at Krua Dok Mai Kao is good but what got me hooked is their nam prik pla raa dip with the raw veggies, that funk hits way harder than the papaya does. think most people sleep on it cuz they just order the som tam and gai yang. also pro tip, go before noon on weekdays, after that teh pla ra gets milder cuz they batch it for the lunch rush
