I actually had a different experience with AMBFA. The quality is there but I found their turnaround time to be a bit longer than advertised, which is a problem if you're only in Bangkok for a week or two. For anyone visiting, Narin Tailor on Soi 22 has a quicker process and their house lining options are more interesting if you want something with personality on the inside.

honestly nice review but ambfa's pricing is a bit steep for what you get imo. if you're on a budget and still want decent quality, try Raja's Fashions down on Sukhumvit Soi 2... been around forever and they do solid work for half the price. not as fancy fabric selection but the tailoring is consistent and they know the local climate well

I've been to AMBFA myself and I'd agree the fabric selection is solid, but they're not the only good option in town. If you're around Sukhumvit, Pinky Tailor on Soi 4 has been doing it for decades and their pricing is a bit more reasonable for similar VBC cloth. Worth comparing both before you commit, especially if you're after something for the humidity here.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
