I am trying to find a 101 craft beer workshop in Bangkok. It doesn't have to be advanced or it has to be basic.
The issue I am facing is that I found one but it is after his birthday from WAS Homebrew. Udomkati Academy has one course but their course page is full of "lorem ipsum" text.
Do you know breweries or places that do beer-making workshops?
I've also taken into consideration brewery tours for his birthday. I haven't found one yet. If you know about tours in Bangkok, please let me know.

For a proper 101 workshop, check with Brewing Room Bangkok on Sukhumvit 69. They do small-group sessions where you actually brew a batch and take it home to ferment, which is rare for a one-day thing. Cost is around 2,500 baht per person and they speak good English.
For tours, Taproom Bangkok on Soi Nana does brewery visits to their production facility in Bang Na every few weeks. It's more about tasting and the process talk than hands-on brewing, but the tour guide is a former homebrewer who can answer specific questions. Their Instagram posts the tour dates each month.
WAS Homebrew on Ekamai is still your best bet for the actual workshop though. If you call them directly, they might do a private session on a weekday if the schedule is open. Their owner is flexible with timing.
if you're open to a bit of a drive, check out Stone Head Brewing on Soi Lat Phrao 80. they're a proper microbrewery and the owner's a homebrew nerd who's done impromptu sessions for friends before. not a formal workshop but he'd prob walk your boyfriend through the whole setup if you email him and mention it's a birthday thing.
for a tour, skip the big places and try Kuibrew near Kasetsart. it's a garage operation but the guy there is super passionate and will let you mess around with ingredients. plus their taproom is just a few benches so it feels like a private thing. just message them on IG a week ahead.
honestly, have u checked with Let the Beast in? they're over on Ekkamai 10 and sometimes do collab events with homebrewers. for a tour, Yodkaew Brewing out past Bang Khen is chill and they'll show u around if u call ahead. their setup is small but that makes it more personal. WAS Homebrew is the most consistent for actual workshops though, maybe see if they can squeeze u in before the birthday if u ask nice
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
